Common Uses of Essential Oils:
AROMA INHALATION :
Add a few drops to an absorbent paper towel sheet, cotton ball, soft tissue or handkerchief; Place a few drops into a diffuser, plug-in device, or on a light bulb, or simply add 4 or 5 drops into a small bowl of hot water.
BODY MASSAGE:
Blend a few drops of Nature’s Answer essential oil with a fragrance-free or lightly-fragranced body lotion such as Almond Oil, Cocoa butter, Shea butter or Coconut. Apply gently.( do not apply essential oils directly to skin)
HOUSEHOLD USES:
As a natural air freshener, add 10-12 drops to 8 ounces of purified water in a spray bottle. Shake before each use. Use lemon, lavender, cinnamon bark, to name a few.
As a marvelous freshener for towels, sheets and clothing, simply sprinkle 10 drops to a clean terry facial cloth and toss into the clothes dryer. Imparting a delightfully fresh natural aroma within the drying cycle and afterward.
In the kitchen… To nullify common cooking odors, add a few drops of Cinnamon, Clove, Grapefruit or Lemon essential oil to a deep pan of simmering filtered water.
Allow steamed aroma-therapeutic simmering water to fill the kitchen and throughout the home.
To keep refrigerator fresh and clean-smelling, add 4-5 drops of Bergamot, Lemon, Lemongrass or Grapefruit to clean, dampened sponge and use to clean the shelves, side walls, compartments inside.
As a multi-purpose natural cleaning agent, mix 1 cup of white vinegar, 2 cups of filtered water and 10-12 drops of Orange, Lemon or Grapefruit in a spray bottle.
Shake before each use to sparkle counter tops, granite and general cleaning.
In the bathroom, as a natural freshener, add 3-4 drops of Lavender, Lemon, Orange, Peppermint or Spearmint on to a paper towel sheet, cotton ball or soft tissue; Place behind toilet or sink.
Throughout the home, near doorways, garage entrances, and other entry areas to discourage ‘unwanted visitors’ , add 6-8 drops of essential oil on an absorbent paper towel sheet, tissue or cotton ball and place where they may enter.
